【摘要】:Thesespecifications,includingtestmethods,applytoflexiblecellularrubberproductsknownaslatexfoamrubbersbutdonotapplytospongeandexpandedrubbers.Thebasematerialusedintheirmanufacturemaybenaturalrubber,reclaimedrubber,syntheticrubber,orrubber-likematerials,aloneorincombination.Incaseofconflictbetweentheprovisionsofthesegeneralspecificationsandthoseofdetailedspecificationsortestmethodsforaparticularproduct,thelattershalltakeprecedence.Referencetomethodsfortestingcellularrubberproductsshouldspecificallystatetheparticulartestortestsdesired.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportions,Sections8,16,18,23,26,29,and31,ofthesespecifications:Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
